De AE100 is een compacte staande / boekenplankluidspreker die kwaliteiten vertoont die van Acoustic Energy perfect belichamen. De AE100 is ontworpen met het oog op het bereiken van hoge geluidsdrukniveaus vanuit een extreem kleine behuizing. Dit wordt voornamelijk bereikt door het gebruik van een 110 mm mid-bass drive-unit die is gebouwd rond een ultra-krachtig motorsysteem met lange worp. De basprestaties worden versterkt door een sleufvormig kanaal dat een aanzienlijk dwarsdoorsnedegebied mogelijk maakt, terwijl de problemen van luchtturbulentie teniet worden gedaan.
